New Classical Caber: Presenting Alternating Hand Motion, Dirk’s first original composition on his new piano!

Here is the fifth of twelve piano études Dirk wrote for the wonderfully generous folks who donated $500 or more to our successful GoFundMe piano campaign (http://gofundme.com/piano-for-dirk), and the first one he’s sharing publicly… just in time for the new year. Étude no. 5: Alternating Hand Motion is dedicated to Dr. Burt Humburg, a particularly athletic friend of ours from Iowa. The piece is a similarly energetic work which features sweeping runs of notes that eventually require the performer’s arms to swing wildly across each other. Dirk thinks it quite a fitting tribute! We’re posting it with Burt’s permission; in his words, “I’m proud to be a part!”

Jail Break, scene 2: Tommy Defendi’s final role before retiring! (NSFW)

Porn legend Tommy Defendi first broke into the industry in 2008. With over 100 scenes under his belt (so to speak), he retired this past May. And TitanMen has the honor of releasing his final scene! After a daring prison break, Tommy finds fellow convict Brendan Patrick hiding out in an abandoned garage. “I Will Be Tight”: A TitanMen behind-the-scenes wisecrack

In this behind-the-scenes footage, TitanMen director Jasun Mark explains that he will be “tight” — that is, have his camera zoomed in — during the filming of the intro to Jail Break. And production assistant Todd Stevens, who filmed this clip, can’t resist cracking a joke. My new movie Jail Break was released earlier this week, but TitanMen exclusive Eric Nero and I shot it almost a year ago, at the same time we shot our respective scenes for Pacific Coast. (I blogged about it at the time.) While Pacific Coast came out in March, Jail Break took longer to be released, because Eric and my scene was the first in the movie to be filmed, and it took a while to schedule and film the remaining two scenes.

Jail Break is out now, though, and here’s the extended NSFW preview and a ton of action shots from my scene with Eric. Unreleased Jail Break alternate title sequence!

As a TitanMen exclusive, I sometimes get treated to sneak peeks of scenes as they’re being edited: rough cuts, sample title sequences, discarded footage and so on. A couple of months ago, director Jasun Mark sent me an early version of the title sequence for Jail Break and I was totally impressed. The only bad part was that I was sworn to secrecy until December!

Now it’s December, Jail Break has officially been released, and I’m noticing that the title sequence has changed a bit from the version I saw in October. It’s still totally kick-ass, though! I’ve edited together a video (above) showing the official title sequence side-by-side with the earlier, alternate version. It’s really cool to see how they differ… like how Brendan Patrick‘s name is spelled wrong in the alternate sequence. Happily, though, it’s fixed in the final cut.
